Analysis for Office folder structure Bi4 platform

Hi all,

at the moment we use the BI4.2 platform to store and execute our Design Studio / Lumira applications and plan to migrate our Analysis & BEx Analyzer apps to BI4.2 as well.

So what are the best approaches for folder strucures containing applications of both camps?

E.g. we do not want our users to see all Design Studio app folders in Analysis and the other way around.

Is there anyone who already implemented such kind of BI4 landscape?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Simon

You can create another folder for Analysis office apps, just give rights to that folder for that specific group.

Hi, we created separate top level folders for each application. Furthermore we developed an AfO access point application in Design Studio which is used by our users to open the AfO applications. Therefore, they do not need to navigate through the BIP folder structure.

Yes, but users have access rights for both tools.

So they would see both folders, any options to distinguish between the tool used to access the apps?
