Hi Experts

My client is handling 4-5 projects at a time. They have given us a scenario. Suppose he has got only one Person to cater for training services to their different customer at site. They want to capture the cost incurred by this person thru SAP.

How can we plan this cost in SAP?

Please help me.

Hi,

Create a work center for the Training with the capacity as 1.

Assign this person for this work center.

Use CATS (Tcode CAT2 and CAT5) to fill the actual time he has used for any of the project.

Ok thats fine.

Suppose if i allocate 8 hrs.during planning for giving services and in actual he does it for 10 hrs. How this variance will be captured and cost according to it?

Since this person will be busy for all 4-5 projects, it may be possible that he can be overload. How to tackle that?

as said , create work center and create activity type in CO settings and mention rate/HR in KP26 , here u need to assign to cost center and use the same in work center , now this work center with activity type can be used in different proj activities and confirmations from different projects get credited to cost center , u can get required report from CO ...

Hi,

In CATS he can mention the actual work he has worked on an activity.

So accordingly the cose will be captured.

As far as overloading is concerned please read the info abt the capacity planning , capacity analysis.

Can we see the variances between plan cost and actual cost in this report?

For individual project, can we see the cost in this report?
