Need to display a message on ME21n?

hai,

I have to transfer PO to vendor and the SO should be created there.

After creating PO in me21n and while saving the SO is created with the help of ALE using message control and standard message type..

but i need to display the message as "SO '..........' have been saved"

on Me21n.?

so please help me on how to display the message?

Hi Kirankumar,

You are creating a PO in your system with the help of transaction ME21N and then you are sending this PO in the form of an IDOC to your partner and he is creating a Sales order in his system and you wanted to have a message in your system stating that the Sales Order# has been saved.

This can be achieved in real time, but for that you need to ask your partner to send you an Order Acknowledgement IDOC, so that when you process the same in your system then his Sales order number will appear in your Confirmation tab of PO line item will hold the sales order number of your partner.

Thanks for the reply . It is help ful. But the scenario is in only one client . So i am processing both outbound side and inbound side.

So, with your answer i came to a definite solution.
