Issue making Material Ledger productive in a Valuation Area

Hello Experts,

When we try to use CKMSTART in one of our valuation areas, we are receiving the error messgae C+ 023, Valuation Area XXXX unable to be locked.

Please help what are we doing wrong? Thank you. I will award points.

In processing options - Select BACKGROUND PROCESSING (immediate) and execute. The ML will be set as productive!

You will not face any issue.

Hi Chirstoper,

first, you need to reset 'activate Material Ledger', using Tcode OMX1.

deactivate check list button and save. and try activate again and save.

CKMSTART will run succesfull for your valuation area.

Hi,

somebody is locking your valuation area for a material (Table MBEW). If possible, throw everyone else out of the system and try again. It's a good practice to find a time slot to set ML productive, when nobody else is on the system.
