Hello - I am attempting to use IE4N (Installing Equipment) to perform movt type 221. I want to override the automatic G/L account but the system's not letting me. I get an error message saying that the G/L acct is not in SKA1 table. Looking in SKA1, I can see the G/L acct. I've tried various different G/L account codes, all unsuccessfully. However, if I let the automatic GL account default, no error message is given.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Susan,
There is a lot of standard account level postings that are made automatically based on the movement type and the underlying account keys, etc..
I usually copy the movement type and then either use the wizard for the automatic account determination, in simulation mode to determine which accounts are getting hit and determine which are needed or not.
Hope this help

Hi Susan,
Have you had the GL account checked for its config?
There is a coding block for the intergration between the modules and FI, it may be that there is a requirement for a mandatory firld.
What are you upgrading from and to?

Hi Javaid - We're upgrading from 4.72 to ECC 6.0. I have compared the movt type config between the upgraded clients and I don't see any difference. I also checked the manual account assignment settings and they are the same.
I've searched OSS for the error message (00058) but no luck.
Any further advice?
Thanks

The G/L account works fine elsewhere. In fact the GL account from the automatic account assignment config works fine in IE4N if you let it automatically populate. However, if you try to type that GL into the G/L field (or any other GL account), the system generates the error.
I think it's more related to entering a manual GL in IE4N rather than the G/L account itself being an issue. Otherwise, the automatic entry wouldn't work, either.
Thanks
