Not copy over fields when duplicating BP

Hi

I have a user defined filed in BP Master Data called Old BP Code.

When I duplicate the BP Old BP Code is also copied over to the new BP.

How can I set Old BP Code to be blank for duplicates (and for all BP's from now on).

BP Code is autonumbered by a SDK add-on.

Irina,

When you click Duplicate, B1 takes every field and inserts it into the new record. Even if you have a default value for the UDF, duplicating overrides the default value.

You might try a formatted search set to fire when the BP Code Changes and sets the UDF to blank or null.
