whandling workitem with status error

Hi,

Since the rule customizing for agents failed, the work item which was created was set with status error and hence this work item is not reaching any of the agent's inbox.

if that is the case? how the work item can be handled? Is there any administrator set who can forward this work item to relevant agents? if it so where and how can i see the administrator and his inbox?

I already told you. Please read the complete post. Because you asked several questions in one thread you lost track of the answers. That's one of the reasons it says in the forum guidelines to post only one question per thread.

I think if you are using Responsibility rule you should always create a backup responsibility with Priority 1(Lowest) with key fields all *. In this the workitems for which configuration is not maintained will be assigned to Wflow Administrator and he can take suitable action by forwarding and configuring for the workflow.

Thanks

Check the agent rules and correct them so this will not be the case anymore in the future.

how the work item can be handled?

Normally you correct the error (in this case make sure the agent rules will find an appropriate agent) and use SWPR to restart the workflow.

Is there any administrator set who can forward this work item to relevant agents? if it so where and how can i see the administrator and his inbox?

Normally there is an administrator set in SWU3, but this could be overruled for a specific workflow. But the administrator only get's a notification of the error not a workitem so he cannot forward it. You will need to rectify the error and use SWPR.

If there is no error but the workitem isn't send to anyone because no agent is found you can find these workflows with transaction SWI2_ADM1. There you also have the option to forward the workitem to an agent or do the agent determination again (after making the necessary corrections off course).
