Duplicate Message exception

Hi All,

I received following alert:

"File Adapter rejected the message as a duplicate: The current duplicate count for file /From_abc_XmlExp/watch//testfile.xml with last modified time Tue Oct 25 11:34:00 EDT 2016 has exceeded the default message alert threshold value and this message will be skipped without processing",

here I understood , this alert is generated as the channel found duplicate file name. But the issue is,the communication channel is still showing in error status and am still receiving alerts. How can this be stopped and is this error can be ignored?

I understood the alert. But the issue is, the channel still showing in error status and generating alerts. How to reset the channel to green.

Hi Vijay,

What is the channel configuration for threshold value?

For above settings

• First file original message will be processed
• Second time with the same file which is duplicate will be ignored
• Channel will be active status but with errors because threshold value exceeded the duplicate count which is zero.
• The channel will process the further messages with duplicate check.
• If you select the check box Disable channel on duplicate then channel status change from active to inactive after threshold value exceed and channel wont process any messages.
