J2EE Applications

Hello experts,

while i was trying to send work item with SAP GUI for HTML i undestood that i need J2EE componant on my server.

The Basis department think that its alote of work for only one requirement, So I need to know which other applications need the J2EE?

Can anyone give me more details on J2EE?

    Hi ,

    Thank you for the links, but i'm looking for something more specific.

    e.g

    I understood that i must install the J2EE on the ecc server for using the new Adobe Form creator.

    Do you know other applications that need it?

    I need explain \ justify the J2EE installation.
