let me know how to give authorizations to our own reports...

like we see the standard tables or reports...they are in display mode only and doesn't allow to make any changes..

like wise if we want our own report programs in display mode how to do this ???

ie., i should only be the responsible person to make any modifications to my report ... and for others the report should be visible in display mode only...

    Hi,

    use the below statement in you report.

    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT <object>

    ID <name1> FIELD <f1>

    ID <name2> FIELD <f2>

    ...

    ID <namen> FIELD <fn>.

    Authorization should be given based on use profile and role.

    refer the below links for more info about authorization.

    Hi,

    Just put an editor lock to your report.

    This option is present in the report attributes with a check box.

    Just mark that checkbox.

    If you want to provide authentication to some persons use authority-checks.

    Thanks & regards

    Deepika.

    Hi,

    You need to ask to BASIS guy to create the authorization object.

    Whenever user clicks the button PROCESS in PAI of that screen you need to write the authority check statement.

    For example if i need to validate the country for the particular user :

    MODULE user_command_9000 INPUT.
    *Authority Check for Country

    *AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'ZO9_CNTRY'
    *      ID 'COUNTRY' FIELD g_soldto_country.
    *    if sy-subrc ne 0.
    *      clear g_ok_code.
    *      message E001(ZOLSC_MESSAGE_AS) with G_soldto_country.
    *    endif.

    ENDMODULE.

    This will surely help you..

    Plz reward if useful.

    Thanks,

    Dhanashri

    Hi,

    If you dnt want to give authority to anyone else then put editor lock.

    GOTO >Attributes ->editor lock.

    If you want to give authority to some persons then go for AUTHORITY_CHECK.

    Reward pts if helpfull.

    Regards,
