K4 to V3

hi,

i have created a co.code with wrong fiscal year K4 instead of V3 and also created controlling area, no documents are posted.

when i tried to change the fy to V3 the system is not accepting and giving error message K4 - V3 not possible.

can any one please guide me how assign V3.

Hi Vijay,

1. go to controlling area OKKP t.code

2. remove the company code assigned to controlling area.

3. now change the fiscal year variant as required in ob37 t.code.

4. come back to controlling area and change the fyv as changed in ob37.

5. assign back the company code to controlling area.

hii u facing this problem because u have created the controlling area with the same fiscal year .. now u have also assigned the company code to that particular controlling area... n now the system wants that he controlling area and the compnay code assigned should have the same fiscal year variant.... and the system is not allowing to change either ontrolling area nor the company code it throughs the same error,,,,,

system is suggesting procedure

Ensure tht the fiscal year variant of controlling area and the assigned company codes agree....

i understand what u have said.

But how to assign new fy V3, system doesn't sujjested any procedure.

expecting a meaningful answer.

here there is no solution

system will not allow for this change

only solution is delink that company code from the controlling area and than change for both the company code and controlling area fiscal year variant and than again reassign company code to contolling area.....
