Hi Sonel,

With Action Profile you can define Actions like Print / Create follow up document etc. Followng thread helped me to understand basics of Action profile. Maybe it will help you get basic guideline as to how action profile works.

Question:-i'm using CRM 5 and i need to set up action profile inorder to trigger subsequent document from lead to opportuinty when the qualification level is hot and i'm using evaluation "questionnaire to indicate the qualification level automatically

right now 'm working in lead transaction so what i did is i create questionnaire in order after answring all the question it qualify lead for example hot, warm cold automatically so my question is i want to trigger action when the qualification level is hot create opportunity

ANS:-use trans. SPPFCADM. First of all you have to create an action profile and an action with processing type 'Method call' and Method 'Copy document'. Also, create a processing parameter: Element: Processing_Type Give a name and a short description in tab D.type, in ABAP Dict. Reference enter as structure: CRMD_ORDERADM_H and Field: Process_type. in tab 'initial value' enter the transaction type of the opportunity.

Secondly, go back to trans. SPPFCADM and select the 'Condition configuration' button. Select your action profile. Select the create button and choose your action profile. In tab 'Start Condition' select 'Edit condition'. Enter a name and click on the area 'condition definition'. Select from the Expression1 'Qualification level' (double click) = 'enter the value for hot, warm or cold', which will start your event. Last but not least, do not forget to define in customizing the copy control for the transaction types.

well every action is linked with 1 action profile.

You can create a new action within an existing action profile or first define a new action profile.

for eg if u are creating an action which send email while saving. then if u have an existing action profile related to that u can go ahead with the same otherwise create a new one with object type /EIC/1O_CO.

after select/creating action profile u create action. Specify a Name and Description for the New Action.
