Planned Order

Hi,

1)I want to create planned order of order type PE in REM manually. I used MD11 for creation but there is no planned order profile PE. can we go in SPRO and create Order type PE so that i can cerate planned order?

2) Is there any method to split Planned order into 2 different planned order?

Hi,

With the foolowing settings in place,the planned order of order type PE is created.

MRP-4 view : Repetetitive Manufacturing tab

REM indicator & suitable REM Profile

BOM Explosion Tab

Selection method : 2 -By production version

Now when u create a planned order maually in MD11 with Order profile LA , a planned order is created with the Order type with PE.

Hi,

For your First Question:

There is no option to create a Planned Order with PE in MD11.

So, you need to enter Planned Order profile : LA

Now enter all the required details in the planned Order in Creation Mode.

Immediatly after specifying the Production Version and Press Enter..

You can observe that the Planned Order type will change from "LA Stock Order" to "PE Run Schedule Quantity". (If the PV is relevant to REM)

This is how normally the Planned Orders for REM are created.

Second Question: Why you want to split the planned Orders?

Hi Siva Kumar,

Thanks for reply. for second question the scenario is that we are using interface which collect the data from weghing machine and send it to BDC program for MFBF in background,

so in interface we get the firm planned order list from PLAF table. form here user selects the planed order say 123 for material A and we are slitting the material in to parts.if combination is 70:30 then we treat then as two diff materials so we need to create 2 prodcution order for 70 & 30 separate product say B &C resp.

Now, we need to have 2 planned oder to be created for mat. B & C so that user can select same planeed order from user interface screen to backflush using the quantity shown by weghing machin for B & C.

Hello Mil,

The Order split functionality is there for production orders.

I guess it is not available for planned orders.

Hi,

Through MD11 you can not create planned order with order type PE.

If you want to create manually use tcode MF50. In this input your requirement. System will create PE order without running MRP.

By SPRO you can not create planned order PE.

You can split the planned order into 2 different planned order for Order type LA. For that open the planned order in change mode, input split qty. System will split the order according the split qty.
