Storage location determination in delivery

I have an issue at a customer site, regarding storage location determination.

The same material will be kept on stock in several plants. Every plant is divided into 10 or more storage locations.

Ex:

Material A in plant 1000 on storage location 1001

Material A in plant 1100 on storage location 1106

Material B in plant 1000 on storage location 1004

Material B in plant 1100 on storage location 1101

This means that I need a storage condition at plant level, but in material master it is on material level, since there isn't any logic in where the materials is kept on stock.

One thought is to use the issuing storage location on material master + user exit.

Any other ideas?

No I don't think so.

We do not use WM or Lean WM.

And I can't see how this functionality could be activated upon delivery creation.

I think u achieve ur requirement by maintaining the Stock Determination in Inventory..

Spro->MM->Invenory->Stock Determination....
