Batch Transfer

HI experts,

I have a scenario.

My client wants to transfer the goods of one batch to another batch within the same storage location.

I tried with 309 and 311 movement types.

I gave different batch numbers for both From and destination. Before that I checked that in the stock over view and noted that material is available in both the batches in the same storage location.

I am getting system error message that "Inconsistency in classification data => transaction terminated"

I tried with differernt storage locations and differnt batch no. But still problem is same and upon clicking hte system gets exit.

Can anyone help me

Hi,

Since Batch management is active for material, you might have maintained classification view for the material master.

check the what are the characteristic maintained for the material.

The error you are getting is related to classfication inconsistency between supplying & receiving material.
