Automate confirmation process in Sales Order

Hi,

How to automate the confirmation process ?

Example: In VA01 or VA02, the order qty is 10pc, after confirmed, confirmed qty will change from 0pc to 10 pc. How to automate this process?

Also, if it is automated, will it check the available stock qty before confirmation?

Thanks.

    Dear Wooi Ling

Stock is confirmed in sale order based on the control you maintain in schedule line category. To check this go to VOV6, select your schedule line category and execute. There you can see a field "Availability". If you have this field ticked, and if stock is available, while sale order creation, stock will be confirmed automatically.

    thanks

    Hi,

In SAP standard it is already automated through Availability check and TOR configuration. So please go through availabilty check procedure...

      Hi Sankar,

If there is Availability Control, does that mean there is Availability Check is automated?

Also, noteiced that different material has different Scope of Check (Example: In/Outward movement). What determines the Scope of Check? Is it the material master or some config settings?

      Thanks.
