Records in setup table

Hi Gurus,

I had a query regarding the total no. of records in setup table of a particular datasource say for 2LIS_13_VDKON

If i want to know the number of entries in the setup table for this datasource how can i do that ? RSA3 extractor can do this but i just want number of entires only.

Is there any database table to store the data of setuptable for it ?

Hi Sonal,

U can try in SE16 --> MC13*KONSETUP which is a structure name (F4).. and then select ur structure name and then enter. And check for the number of entries.

Or u can use RSA3 to findout the same where u need to provide the proper celll info to get the total count.

Or u can check NPRT T-code to get the total count for that application from the previous setups.

thanks

Hope this helps

Hi you can try to check the log of the SET UP TABLES inizialization . There you can find for each structure the number of records of the inizialization

Transaction CODE--> NPRT in r/3 you will find the inialization jobs with the records extracted

Hope it helps

Hi,

In RSA3 itself you can see the no.of records.

Give the datasource name, just click on Extraction you will get a message which gives the no.of records count.

You want to see the list, just click on display list

Thanks

Hi,

For each extract structure, one setup table with the name of the extract structure and 'SETUP' as a suffix exists.

for sales order setup tables will be like this

for header : mc11va0hdrsetup

for item level : mc11va0itmsetup

for schedule line : mc11va0sclsetup

You can view the data of setup tables in se11 or se16.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

yes, have checked up with mc13vd0konsetup for 2LIS_13_VDKON

but it doesnot actually shows the number of entires. moreover it stores the data cluster . so it doesnot gives exact no of records for 2LIS_13_VDKON.
