Making Group members in SAP Jam confidential

Is it possible to keep members of a Private Group in SAP Jam confidential amongst the members? They only know that they're in a Jam Group and know who is the Administrator of the Group, but do not know who else is a member of this Group?

Just a side note - I use Mentor Jam and get daily emails. However, after what seems like an update made few months ago it no longer includes all the activities. I constantly find new items that I was never alerted of. Beware.

Hello Matt, can you please let me know which email notification categories you are subscribed to for SAP Community? You can see the list here: manage. We are already working on how to improve the email notification preferences for users. Please feel free to share if you think that our proposed solution (details below) will ease some of the troubles that you mentioned here. And unfortunately I cannot speak for JAM notifications. Please refer to the resources and feedback from other users about this.

And yes, jrgen.lins , we are looking at how we can create "email digests" for email notifications from followed primary tags (Phase 3 of new content email notifications - Phase 1 has been implemented only). So for instance, users now receive an email notification for each new content that is created from all of their followed tags. New improvements will allow users to further pick and choose which primary tag they would like to receive such email notifications from. They will also be able to configure the frequency of such emails so they do not have to be inundated with such. More details will be available when plans around this is formalized. And of course, we will share the plans beforehand for feedback and adjustment.

Thanks!

Sajid

I guess it is not possible for both.

I have not seen any option at all for the community to get daily emails, guess you know this document. sajid.amir4 do you have any feedback if there is something in the development pipeline?

And in Jam you have the gear on top right to get to the settings and you can only select/deselect the the different types of emails, and within the section of daily mails you can select which of those you want daily. But I am not aware that you could move emails which belong to the immediate send type to the daily send type.

The details about email settings for SAP Jam can be found in the User Guide here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/user_help/b1d096637d4a1014ba05827eb0e91070.html

Sorry, but how SAP Jam settings are related to "emails from the community and from the Moderator group"?

vadim.kalinin I think Adam posted the link because Matt also used the tag for SAP Jam Communities.

matt.pollicove Am I right thinking that you weren't interested in an answer about the SAP Jam Communities product (https://www.sap.com/products/community-powered-commerce.html)? If so, you might wanna remove the tag from your question 😉

"because Matt also used the tag for SAP Jam Communities" - can be a reason 🙂

Actually this happens in both JAM and the Community. I'm innundated with emails and I'd really like to find a way to get it under control.

Here is my current configuration for the Moderators Jam group - works quite well for daily email digests:
