Sales order issue

Hi all,

A Sales order is created with two line items. Both the line items have the same material but different batch numbers. While creating outbound delivery document only first line item from the sales order is populating in it. The second line item is missing. I maintained schedule lines in the sales order for both lthe ine items. What should have been the problem? Why only one line item is populating instead of both in Outbound delivery document?

Hi Avani,

May b got split in the delivery. C whether the partner funcions are same for both the line items. Or may be because of different batches it is getting split.

as the 2 line items are having 2 different batches they belong to 2 different plants so they may belong to 2 different SHIP-POINTS .As the Shipping Point being the Organisational element at delivery u can create delivery with only one line item..

If u want to create delivery fr other u need 2 create another dlv. with other shippoint w.r.t schedule line

Hi Avani,

Please check the scheduleline conformed dates of the two items if the second item schedule line conformed date is different to the first item then you create delivery on longer scheduleline conformed date.

And also checck the shipping point of the each item that should be identical.

U have 2 line Items in the Order both line items have different batch no's so the materials are frm different plants so their ship points are different.So when u create delivery only the respective schedule line of the SHIP-POINT gets copied as the line items are having different ship points.So u see only one line item in the delivery.

If u want the delivery fr other line item u need to create other delivery with the other shippoint.

This is due to delivery split. complete the first delivery & again create another delivery referencing the same sales document,

which will have second line item

hi,

in the delivery doc, just next to the picking quantity field u wl get a field , where u can explode the different batches of the same material.

if u dont get this go to sales order header/item data, shipping tab, there wl b field for batch . please check that
