Variant Configuration Problem

Can you help me? I have question about variant configuration material:

1. When create SO, is characteristics value assignment field maintained ?

2. Is FERT material have a routing? (when convert Plan Order to Production Order appears error message "no valid task list for material 1686 plant 1001 for sel.criteria")

3. Is formula object dependency have a problem?

I was create BOM, Routing, Material Master (class type 300), Characteristics, Class, Class with class type 200 for Colour, Configuration profile and also object dependency....

All process created within Configurable Material (KMAT) level.--> (1684 material, exp.)

And I create FERT material (1686 material, exp.).. on basic data2 view...in"cross-plant PM field" I field KMAT material (1684 material).

Next I create Sales Order with FERT Material (1686 material, exp.). After checked stock/requirements list (order appears), running MRP material FERT (1686)....

But only 1686 appears...and when convert Plan Order to Production Order appears error message "no valid task list for material 1686 plant 1001 for sel.criteria".........
