Hello,
We are planning to upgrade to BO 4.2 SP5 soon from SP3. Can someone please let me know the hardware requirements for SP5. Our servers are currently on Windows 2012 R2.
Also, please list out you experiences and best practices to follow during the upgrade.
Thanks in advance,
Kavya
Why do you want to upgrade instead of updating the system. If you are on 4.2 sp3 and would like to be on 4.2 sp5 is best practise and upgrade or update and where is the recommendation?

Hardware requirements between Sp3 and SP5 do not change, you need to go thru sizing exercises for your environment every 6 months or so.

There is not much difference between sp3 and SP5 as server perspective. It does not matter if you have 2012 or 2016. Both supports both Server OSs
