Re-init setup tables

Hi All,

I have a small doubt regarding LO Extraction. We have already done the initialization for 2LIS_03_BF without any selection conditions , in production system. And delta is running successfully .

But now we need to delete the setup table due to duplicate entries and planning to again fill the setup table with multiple selections (based on Posting date).

Now my question is,what will happen to the existing delta.I know that deleting the setup table will have no impact to the existing delta. But once I run the new initialization, what will happen to the exisiting delta load records. Will we miss any records?

I would like to confirm before proceeding this, since it is a production system.

Thanks & Regards,

Raja

    Hi Raja,

For these new Selections u can take repair full in BW to correct the records. Before taking this u need to delete the data selectively for the selection with which u are taking the new Setups.

And then take the repair full in BW which will work fine for ur issue and proceed with the deltas normally.

    Thanks

    Hope this helps
