Availability Check

Hi gurus,

Available Stocks = 10 Boxes

Plan Ord 1: Box Requirement 10pcs

Plan Ord 2: Box Requirement 10pcs

Plan Ord 3: Box Requirement 10pcs

At MDVP, ATP CHECK...all 3 planned orders are tagged as "Go" (order can be fully confirmed)

How can I set this:

Pland Ord 1 = Go

Pland Ord 2 = No Go

Pland Ord 3 = No Go

Only Planned Order should be fully confirmed because the stocks are just 10 boxes.

How come even I have just 10 boxes in the stocks, all planned orders are tagged as "order can be fully confirmed"?

Thanks,

Kumar

    Hi,

First the planned order has got generated only because the requirement couldnt not be covered with the existing stock

Moreover the System is saying its possible based on the in house production days/replenishment lead time maintained in the material master

If no of days maintained in the material master is less than the delivery date committed then sys will says its possible & commit the qty

    Hope the above is understandable

    Regards,

    SVP

      Hi,

Sorry my scenario was not clear. The planned orders are for FG and the requirements (BOX) are for its component.

BOM = 1 FG needs 10 BOXes of Component A. So:

1 planned order (of FG) needs 10 Boxes of component A to produce.

Hope this is more clear. Thanks

    Hi,

Check in Scope of check in SPRO.

In this Indicator called RLT - Replinishment lead time.

Replinishment lead time means it is the time to produce or procure a component.

If the indicator set means w/o RLT.System should not consider replinishment lead time. So system assumes that all the components are available.

If the indicator not set means, delivery date falls within the replinishment lead time.System confirm the products only after the RLT, so system shows missing parts.

    Regards,

    Dharma

Check you SPRO definition in OVZ9 for daily or individual requirement (Checking rule which you had maintain in Material master in MRP3 view) against the PP checking rule.

In this there is option include planned orders select (u2018Xu2019 include all planned order).
