Uploading atributes via Import Manager

Hello -

I am trying to upload a taxonomy structure via import manager from an excel spreadsheet

The structure has alreadty been loaded and I now need to upload the attributes that will then be linked to the categories.

My question is " how should the file be set up in order to upload the attributes as efficienty as possible".Should the file be set up a certain way?

Thank you for your help

Best regards

Nadine

Hello - thanks for the information..it is certainly very useful!

Can you please give me the look for how the excel should be created for the uploading of te attributes and of the links.

That information combined with what you have already sent will solve my problem!

    Thanks!

    Hi Nadine

how should the file be set up in order to upload the attributes as efficienty as possible".Should the file be set up a certain way?

yes this is correct. Divide the xls in 4 sheet:

sheet1: All attribute names with their types

    Sheet2: Attributes with their values

    Sheet3: Attributes linked to Nodes

Sheet 4: Hierarchy structure with other field details.

First upload the hierarchy structure which you have already done. Next import all the attributes sheet1 and then their values as in Sheet2. finally we should import the linkages between Nodes and attributes sheet 3.

    Hope this helped.

    Regard
