How to bring DESCRIPTION2 field in WEBUI in opportunity Search parameters

Hi All,

we have a requirement where in we need to provide DESCRIPTION2 attribute as one of the opportunity search parameters.I tried searching in the Component BT111S_OPPT/Search view attributes and also searched in SEARCH OBJECTS inBOL Layer. it is not available in both these areas. Kindly help me out in how to bring this field on to WEB UI.

Any pointers on this will be really helpful.

Hi Udaya,

The fields of the structure of context node in Component BT111S_OPPT/Search view would be available as search parameters in the WebUI.

You can try enhancing the structure for this context node and add field - description02 in it.

This would allow you to add description02 field on the screen.

But, the code for data filtration based on this field may be written in the event handler of the search button.

I am not pretty sure of the above steps... but I would have gone in this direction...
