Testing-create support message-Field selection

Dear gurus,

In the tesing status maintenance when we create messgae the following fields are mandatory in standard.

System/IBase

Component

Short Text

is there any setting to be done to make it as optional or to hide.

I assume you are talking about NOTIF_CREATE.

They all can be made optional, but you may need to change some configuration if you do. For instance, there is an access sequence that uses the sold-to-party assigned to the ibase to fill in the field in the ticket. If you hide it, you will need to tweak that access sequence to account for this.

The report RDSWP_NOTIF_CREATE_CUSTOMIZE_S allows you to customize NOTIF_CREATE.

You can make them mandatory, give them a default value, or hide them.
