Hi All,
I am following this link to configure search for web pages.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/45/e58d6e146d5591e10000000a1553f7/content.htm
and when I click on create index, a get a message
"Index could not be created: There are no active http servers known at the nameserver (Errorcode 7218)."
I have checked in System Admin-Monitoring-KM-TREX Monitor the HTTP server
http://companyname:31005/TREXHttpServer/TrexlsapiExt.dll is Not available and is displayed in red.
I have had a look at the threads, but none has been handy so far. I believe that I would have to make some changes in VA, does anybody have an idea as to how to proceed further on this.
POINTS GURANTEED
Regards,
DJ

Hello -
If the TREX HTTP Server is not available, then no indexing will be possible from the portal server. I'd first start by checking whether the TREX was successfully installed.
Aftter running TREXSettings.bat (or .csh or.sh), execute python runInstallationTest.py. This will test TREX by itself without any external connectivity. If you get anything but 000 in your return code, then there is something wrong with the TREX installation.
Common problems especially with the TREX HTTP server is that the ISAPI filter is not registered in IIS. There are several notes about special steps needed for various versions of IIS.

Kyle
