Timeout when saving a product with API Manager (Cloud portal)

Hello,

I am working at Cryptowerk, an SAP partner. I have an admin account for our company in the SAP Cloud Platform.

I am trying to publish our API on SAP API Business Hub and I followed the steps on the help pages. The swagger file is ready and has no errors. I was able to upload this and create the API with the API Manager. The next step is creating a product. And this worked until Monday - I could create it as draft and debug it.

Monday afternoon Pacific Time I uploaded a new version of the API description and when I wanted to create and save a product the saving did not work. It tried to save the product for such a long time that my session timed out. After I logged in I noticed that the product was still not created.

Since then I tried to repeat this process. I even deleted the API and started over. I am still not able to save the Product in the API Manager.

Something seems wrong in the portal. Can you please fix this?

I tried to follow the steps here:

After login I go to Regions -> Europe Rot trial... there I am using the API Management.

This is my first project in this environment and there is definitely a lot of learning involved. Ultimately I need to publish into api.sap.com but this sandbox environment would be enough for now.

Hi Olaf,

Can you please share some additional details. When you say you are trying to publish an API on the SAP API Business Hub, are you referring to https://api.sap.com ? As this is something separate from the SAP Cloud Platform, API Management service.

If you are using SAP API Management, if you can try clearing all cache and use Google Chrome, to create the product against the new API, and let us know if you are still having time out issues. If you are, can you please email sapapimanagementinfo@sap.com with your account information so that we can look into any possible issues.
