I dont think we can change the BOM usage - the only alternative I see is to create new BOMs with changed usage and then deleet the old

    Please advice

    thanks

If I make BOM universal , I need to ,make alternative BOM as Engineering BOM will have several levels and production BOM has all the components and assy on single level .

MRP might pick up wrong BOM .

Is there any T.code by which we can make mass copy or change BOMs . AS in system there are many BOMs which needs to be copied as is with new usage .

    Hi,

The only suggestible way is to create a new BOM by copying ther old one. If the existing BOM are more in number then you can create a BDC or LSMW for copying. Take the help of ABAPer for the same.
