how to display records in alv using a button instead of EXECUTE SYMBOL

By clicking execute symbol in alv report I am displayed the

required output by getting input from select-options .But i should display the output by clicking a button called 'CLICK'. Even I displayed the button in the output screen i cannot able to retrieve the records.i.e. when i select values from

select-options and click the button no records will

display.
