Can MRP propose replenishment delivery dates for a certain day for a certain supplier?

The business user has 1 supplier that only delivers into their site on Thursdays. They want the requisitions to automatically choose a required delivery date on a Thursday.

I suggested using the planning calendar but this is only specific for a certain material (not vendor)

May someone advise?

Hello

You can use the planning calendar, but it is set at material master level, not at vendor level.

Yes- We can achieve MRP to propose the delivery date on one fixed desired date for a particular vendor..based on planning calender- tcode MD25. as you said you want it on Thurday then you can set the planning calender accordingly.
