hi experts,

i am working in abap/4 & new to abap/4 . in coding iam avg. if i get choice to shift to bw or bi. is it better . this is the right time or after getting good coding knowledge in abap/4 to change.

please give me ur valuable suggetions, i am in confuse.

for better suggetions reward points.

Hi sirish,

It is better if u complete ur course in Abap. In the begging it will be difficult to do coding untill and unless u get a good knowledge and interest on it.Let u finish with Abap. If u really want to shift to BI let me tell u, some day in life u definitely need the knowledge of ABAP at that point ofcourse u have to

take help from Abapers. Better u finish Abap then go to BI.

You know coding but not much.that means you will have good knowledge of database,if you are an IT person. because in that you dont need to do coding.so BW will be good for you.ABAP is also good.once you will go through all the coding programs atleast one time then you will be good at coding also.It depends on your choice first.take an overview of BI & BW.you will come to know that which will be best for you.
