Outer frame to table in smartform

Hi,

how to draw an outer frame to a table in a smartform

There should not be any inner lines.(only outer frame)

If I choose any frame it is applying to a line type. But for the entire table a box should be there.

    Hi Charan,

Select the whole table then click on the "use shading" and after that click on "outer frame"....... you will get an outer frame in the output.

    Shaheen.

      Hi,

Ok, actually charan always its like trial n error thing...

If it is drawing lines inside also then again select the whole box and again click on the "use shading".

Now you will not get the inside lines.

Now if you clcik on the outer frame hopefully you should get the outer frame for the table.

And beside to these, few more options which you can use according to your requirement.

I generally do like that, as i mentioned earlier and i get the outbox.... even now i did that n i got.

      hope this will help you.

      Regards,

      Shaheen.

    Hi,

When u click on a table in a smartform, you would get the layout of the table. Just above the layout you would find frames in the shape of a boxes. Just click on that and that will decide the frame for your table in your smartforms.

      Hi Sravani,

how can I keep the table in a window. ( Window will have a fixed dimensions). and we dont know how much the table will be extended.

So there cannot be any dimensions for the table except width.

If I choose outer frame pattern, (1st one in Framed Patterns) it is drawing the frames individually for header, footer and main area.

But it shouldn't be the case.

Header, Main area and Footer everything should come in one outer frame.

      Thanks for ur time.
