Hi,

There are certain IT which should not be delimited even after terminating an employee for retroactive purposes. IT 8 is one among them.

Kindly provide more details if you are trying something else.

Thanks,

Preetham.

Hi ,

Scenario is like, when an employee goes on deputation to other organisation, his salary is paid by that organisation for the deputation period.

So I want to delimit IT0008 when employee goes on Deputation and again assign him when he comes back.

Hi,

I just tried to delimit IT 8 and got the same error as you. What i would suggest you is, create a new record for IT 8 for the employee's deputation period with 0 amount. But you will have to recreate the existing IT 8 record when the employee returns.

Hope this info is helpful.

Thanks,

Preetham.

Please check the time constraint for IT 0008.

Hi,

You cannot delimit IT0008 due to fact that Time constraint=1. 1 record should always exist in the system even if person is terminated.

IT0008 shoudl not be delimited due to some retroactive calculations if any.

Similar infotype that cannot be delimited are 0000, 0001 and 0002, They shoud always exist in the system even if person is terminated.

Why you not think about action which will change status of employee to something that will not be processed via payroll and when Person is back just Rehire him/her or run another action which will update status to Active.
