Hi DMS Chekin : Help Need (Urgent)

Hi Guys,

I am new to DMS , but i started to explore DMS to integrate it with XI system to upload Documents.

Scenario is like this:

FileServer (Client) ---> XI --- > DMS System

I use "BAPI_DOCUMENT_Checkin2" to checkin Document : After working with this bapi quiet some time , i came across many strange behaviour.Well intially i was not able to checkin documents , by debugging i found that there is some bad objects table filled with sets a flag for which i was not able to checkin document, so introduced a flag and made the badobject table clear and atlast was able to see the file in the transaction "cv02n"

1) Now when i try to open the document it says :Error while checking out:

C:\DOCUME_{1\9000031\LOCALS}1\Temp\_WIPKISHORE09.pdf

2) I tested and experienced this FM doesnot see the physical availabilty of the file in the docpath specified , it just put the file.

I think before when i was not using that check box mark , it said error in checking the Document , now since in set the paramater and force the checkin to happen this happened.

can any one give any advices and views.

present i see the document name but when clicked it throws above error

hi yasir,

please confirm that , you have made the right settings in t code dc 30 and dc20.

in dc 30 , defing workstation appplication as pdf also , make the setting in the sub folder of dc30.

also define the PC as data carrier.

In Transaction i get following error:

Object Text : KPRO Content Managment Service

Sub-Object Text : HTTP Communication

Mode : Dialog Procesing

Log Number : 00000000034340

Below (Red Led)

Compoent : 2344.pdf error text: Invalid argument

Any clues on this
