Batch Traceability

Dear Sapients,

Pls guide in meeting the below requirement/

Requirement for Batch Traceability is as below detailed with example.

To manufacture FG1 Material requires 4 Semi Finished Materials like SF1, SF2, SF3, SF4.

BOM for FG1 for base Quantity 1 KM

0010 : SF1 1 KM

0020 : SF2 1 KM

0030 :SF3 1 KM

0040 : SF4 1 KM

Had a Production Order for FG for 100 KM which is having 2 operations.

FG material is Produced in Drums where the size of Drum is 50 KM.

In Shift A Production Qty is 75 KM

Against Operation 0010 : Confirmed Quantity is 75 KM which is done in two steps with Qty 50 & 25 ( 50 Kms Drum + Running production 25 km)

For 50 Kms Consumption is like below :

SF1 : 50 KM : BATCH B1

SF2 : 50 KM : BATCH B2

SF3 : 50 KM : BATCH B3

SF4 : 50 KM : BATCH B4

Again for 25 Kms Consumption is like below :

SF1 : 25 KM : BATCH B5

SF2 : 25 KM : BATCH B6

SF3 : 25 KM : BATCH B7

SF4 : 25 KM : BATCH B8

Against Operation 0020 : Confirmed Quantity is 50 KM only as remaining 25 KM is running Production.

For 50 Kms Goods Receipt is like below :

FG1 : 50 KM : BATCH A1.

Physically Known BATCH A1 is Produced from BATCH B1, BATCH B2, BATCH B3 & BATCH B4.

Now when report is executed by inputting batch as BATCH A1, system has to show only BATCH B1, BATCH B2, BATCH B3 & BATCH B4.

In MB56, System is showing Batches against Order ( showing BATCH B1, BATCH B2, BATCH B3 & BATCH B4, BATCH B5, BATCH B6, BATCH B7 & BATCH B8).

Phanesh

    Hello

In order to get the full traceability in orders with several operations you need to use WIP Batches. See details below:
