Hi John,

1) You must run MB57 for the date range which includes the rest two outbound deliveries also which currently not displaying.

Run again MB57 for the date range which includes rest two outbounds deliveries.

Further, In replied you have given following break-up

6092 Qty for 3 Outbound Delivery

72 Qty for Process Scrap

6 Quality Sample

______

6170 Sum of your production Delivery qty.

And in last reply you have mentioned total 5 delivery (incl. 615523 & 615566). It is little bit confusing to understand.

Hi,

Sorry to confuse you, my client give me reference screenshots of a Production order in closed status with in the DELIVERD QTY value is 6170 CASES was confirmed. and he add a report data that in this PO 72 was scrapped (551 Movement), 6 were cases adjusted out of quality control (333 movement), and the total cases shipped was 6092 (641 movement) were 7266092=6170 which the value in the PO. and he also gave screenshots of result in MB56 with bottom-up analysis outbound deliver number shown in MB56 are 111121 = 4759 cases, 111122 = 1120 cases and 111123 = 213 cases if sum up is 6092. but the actual number of outbound deliver really happen is 5, which are 111121 = 840 cases, 111122 = 1120 cases, 111123 = 213 cases and the two missing outbound delivery in MB56 when executed 111124 = 1960 cases and 111125 = 1959 cases, when this 5 was sum up it is also 6092. my question is why the result of MB56 does only show 3 outbound delivery since in actual there are 5? and why in out bout delivery number 111121 for my analysation it took the value of the missing 2 outbound delivery 111124 and 111125, 84019601959=4759 which MB56 outputed?

Thanks

JJ

Hi John,

Is it solved or not ?

If really there are 5 deliveries then it must be shown.

You need to execute MB57 for the date range so that two missing outbound deliveries dates cover.

That is the only solution.

Hi John,

MB56 will not display data because there is pre-requisite of it.

You must have to compile the inventory documents by MB57 first.

Only you need to execute MB57 t.code.

Specify from & to date & execute it. (It will take some minutes).

Then check it by MB56. You will find full traceability.

You can set MB57 in background job also.

Hi Chintal,

why there were difference in terms of DELIVERED QTY in my production order for the material and the specific batch i mentioned (6170) from the DELIVERED QTY in MB56 i do not see the same information if i added the 3 quantities found at outbound delivered number 615525, 615299, and 615501 is (6092) this is the amount ship. however this was shipped out on 5 deliveries and just 3 outbound delivery. this product was also on 615523 and 615566. why don't the other delivery show up? and when i look at VL03N the 5 outbound delivered and sum it up it also tally at 6092 same amount what MB56 shows with only 3 outbound deliver? is that the final resolution for me to run MB57? am not really used with tis two transaction code.

Thanks

It is a Batch Genealogy Report, it gives the details where the batch is used.

Like if we are searching for what materials/ batches are used in manufacturing a specific bacth, or if we need which batch has gone as input to which batch, then we use this report.

It gives the complete history of the batch in a tree structure.

Top Down Analysis -

After you have started the top-down analysis, the system determines:

All orders and subcontract orders used in the manufacture of the specified batch

Subcontract orders are regarded as being produced externally using a companyu2019s own batches.

For each order, the quantity with which the batch was posted as an outward movement to the warehouse.

The batches that were posted as components for each order

Orders that do not have a component batch are not displayed.

For each of these batches, the cumulative quantity posted from the warehouse for the order

In the top-down analysis, the check whether inspection lots exist cannot be carried out with reference to production orders. When the batch is being processed, the orders that are used to manufacture the batch are not yet known.

Bottom Up Analysis -

After you have started the bottom-up analysis, the system determines:

All orders and subcontract orders in which the specified batch was used.

Subcontract orders are regarded as being produced externally using a companyu2019s own batches.

For each order, the quantity with which the batch was posted from the warehouse as an outward movement. The batches that were produced for each order. Orders for which no batches were produced are not displayed. For each of these batches, the cumulative quantity posted to the warehouse as a receipt

Hope this helps you.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, a have a production order with delivered qty for 6170 cases with batch 111222, but when i used MB56 (bottom-up analysis), the delivered for this batch is 6092 only and with 3 outbound delivery number, but in our report it was delivered in 5 outbaound number, the breakdown we see in our report 72 cases were scrapped(551 movement) 6 were adjusted out of quality (333 movement) and 6092 cases shipped (641 movement) if i sum up this it will reflect the amount of delivered qty in the production order 6170, there were two outbound delivery number missing in MB56. when i check the 5 outbound delivery in VL03N and total the number of pick cases it tally for 6092. this is weird since in the production order it was stated in the DELIVERED QTY it is 6170. there something wrong, please help me with this?

Thanks
