Assign Different Packageu2019 (Transport Issue??)

Dear All,

ABAP Developer is getting a error:

While executing u2018OXK3u2019 to add new fields to CI_COBL (Customized Include) its showing error as u2018Assign Different Packageu2019.

I think there could be some problem with Transport layer. I had defined transport layer from 000 client in development client with DDIC.

ABAP developer has released one request but.... from quality stms import queue is empty.....can anyone help me in thios regard??? Is there somethong to be done in Quality server??

Regards,

Souren

    Hi

You have created a new transport layer, but you have to define a custom package where you can store the cutomized object.

Becase your transport layer is always associated with the package.

Please read this document to create a package and then assign the object to this package.

I had already created 3 'Z' packages and assigned those packages in that transport layer.....

One more question is i have dev & quality server in place...not prd....but I did not created any virtual system.

But there will be certainly one prd system in future.

But I had already created transport layer and requests are created in the assigned packages.

Will there be any prob in future??
