CRM web UI authorizations

Hello,

I am new to CRM 2007.

Our client is implementing CRM 2007 using WEB UI.

Appreciate your help in

1. Knowing difference between a user logging from SAP GUI & Web UI

2. What are the special authorizations to be given to user in WEB UI (Using BSP)

3. Online help links on authorizations for user in WEB UI (Using BSP)

    Tha's a very general question and, thus, quite hard to answer.

    First of all the user must have a business role to access Web UI.

    He will also need special authorizations via traditional PFCG role and authorization objects. I suggest you take a look at some of the standard UI roles (SAP_CRM_UIU*) to get an idea of what is special about them.

    And finally try tracing your users via ST01 to see which authorization objects are checked.
