    HI Prasanthi,

    If the client is asking for Material procurement (MRP) for a project (Cusomer or Investment) then you have to maintain the N/W related config.,customizing activities and steps with respect to that Material group or Material.

    Hope this helps you better.

    Thanks,

    Sanju....

    Basically network in the project structure has four meanings;

    1) Networks are used to separate the activities beneath in different categories

    2) Network is the level where from several users can simultaneously work on the same project, but on different networks (this requires the u201CDisplay<>Changeu201D function from the u201Ceyeglasses and penu201D-button

    3) Needed in releasing/not releasing purchase requisitions

    4) Needed in scheduling.

    To create a network attached to this project, drag the network icon under Templates > Individual objects to the Project number in the upper left. This will start a screen to the right with a header and defaulted to the Control-tab. There are 4 other tabs presented of which only Scheduling and Assignments will be discussed.

    I think it may helpfull u a lot.

    with regards

    Raman
