Extractors

Hello!

I am a student and have the first contact with SAP BI.

We have to make a Purchase-Controlling with SAP R/3, SAP BI and the Query Designer!

We've found already a suitable DataSource and made a transformation to a Cube to use him in the queryDesigner!

But our college lecturer told us to find and present a suitable extractor!

Furthermore he told us that there are dozens of extractors, but we should present just one or or two who are very good for our topic (Purchase-Controlling)!

Therefore our questions:

-Where can we find suitable extractors for our specific topic?

-Is there a list with all the extractors with description available?

Try using LBWE transaction code in SAP R/3 system. It has tons of datasources...

Once you identify correct and relevant datasource, please activate business content in SAP BI.

you can find all business content extractors by using T-Code RSA 5.

Hi,

In your case (Purchase - Controlling), this is something related Fin Integration with MM. This is called Requisition to pay.

You make the purchase order with your Vendor and get the material and inturn Vendor will raise the invoice for that. All these inforamation is part of "Account payables". you have business content datasources for Account payables. For Ex : 0Fi_AP_04 just double click on that you will get the Extract structure.

You can find them in RSA6 at R3. If it is not installed it would be available in RSA5.

Only Logistics Datasources would be available in LBWE.

In that we have 18 applications and no. of datasources and select u revelant datasources sippose u r requirement inventory 2LIS_03_BF Goods movement and 2LIS_03_UM stock revaluation select u r requirement and select u r update mode and active, replicate in the BI and activate BI Business content
