BILLING PLAN

Dear consultant friends,

I prepared a maintenance contract with a billing plan for one of my customers in service industry.While configuring the same,i put start date(rule 13) as header start date and left end date as blank in date rule for billing plan.When i am creating the contract,and the start date is entered,a warning message comes,"baseline date rule 13 for billing plan is deleted'.The same message also comes after the end date is entered.Please suggest whether there is any error and how i can configure so that the error messages are not shown.

    Dear Raja,

    Go to SPRO -> Sales -> Sales documents -> contract -> contract data -> define contract profile.

    Select the profile you are using say e.g. 1 year contract,go to details delete the contract start rule and save.

    Hopefully it will work.
