What is bapi enhancement? And what is bapi modification? And difference between them?

    See using the BDC or BAPI depends on the context and several other parameters. BAPIs are preferred is one exists for the current requirement as it implements the object oriented notation. Moreover, when you go for upgradations you need to readjust the BDC programs which is not the case with BAPIs which are nothing but the methods in the Business Object Repository (BOR).

    API is nothing but Application Programming Interface it can be a java API (methods) or BAPI is SAP.

    BAPI is Business Application Programming Interface, an interface from SAP ERP to SAP R/3.
