Add Order Quantity to Pick List PLD

Can someone tell me how to add the Sales Order Quantity to the Pick List PLD. I tried adding a database field with PKL1-OrderEntry and then adding another with RDR1-Quantity and then relating that to the former with no luck. Any ideas from the PLD experts out there?.

Karl,

There are 2 different Picklist templates. Which one are you using?

Do you use Pick and Pack manager in your business process or do you check the Print pick-list check box on the Sales Order to print the pick list?

Since you mentioned PKL1-OrderEntry it seems you are using P&L manager. Please confirm this.

You have already done 80% of work by adding a database field with PKL1-OrderEntry and then adding another with RDR1-Quantity and then relating that to the former

You will need to add another database field PKL1-OrderLine (Order Row ID)

Then in the RDR1.Quantity field

Relate to: PKL1-OrderEntry

Next Segment: PKL1-OrderLine

This should work.

Before I suggested the solution, I tested it at my end and it worked right. Please make sure you are following the sequence of steps and have got it right.

I believe that I have done everything you suggested. I created 3 DB fields.

1.) RDR1-Quantity

2.)PKL1-OrderEntry

3.)PKL1-OrderLine

Then for the RDR1-Quantity field

Realte to PKL1-OrderEntry

Next Segment PKL1-OrderLine

and it returns PKL1 Order Entry and PKL1 OrderLine from just one row on all items.

I must be missing something, I am trying to help one of the partners out but I think this will get them on the right track.

I once again tested it with 3 line Items with different quantities and it DOES SHOW the 3 quantities correctly on the Picklist

Which SBO version and Patch level are you using?

I am on 2007A PL11. We are going to try on a couple different patches today to see if that is the issue.
