Derivation Rule in COPA

I have a field called Serial Number in FI(BSEG) and also have serial number as characteristic in COPA,User will enter the Serial Number in FI(BSEG) but it has to be copied automatically in COPA Serial number characteristics when User hits derivation buttom in PA pop up.Can we do this in KEDR t-code .

But the problem is the MOVE is done from COPA(SOURCE FIELD) Characteristic to COPA(Target field) characteristic only but here serial number is moved or copied from FI side.

you can do through KEDR in which use step move.
