parallel Refresh queries in a workbook with BI7.0

Hi Experts,

could somone tell me if is it possible to refresh IN PARALLEL all the queries in a workbook with 7.0 version? are there any differences from 3.5 Bex version from this point of view?

This kind of option would be very usefull for long run queries and/or big ammount of queries collected in a workbook.

I would be really grateful if you can give me link to documentation on this point.

Thanks very much

Best Regards

    Hi

    Please do this step:

The option in the Query property must be checked to refresh all the queries present in the workbook.

    1. Position the active cell to be within the result area of a query

    2. Using the BEx toolbar select the OLAP functions for active cell icon -> Properties

    3. On the Interaction Tab make sure that "Refresh query when Opening workbook" is select.

    4. Repeat Step 1-3 for any additional query

My issue is also to find out if 3.x version of BEX is different from 7.0 on this feature, because I know that in 3.5 the many queries in a workbook are refreshed in a sequential way one by one.

If in the 7.0 version there is the option of refreshing in parallel N queries it would be one important business DRIVER for upgrade also the BEX 3.x>BEX7.0 !
