Error while opening .lumx Dashboards on BI-Plattform

Hello SAP-Community,

I have encountered an Error while opening my .lumx Dashboard on the BI-Plattform (via Browser). (An exception occured while processing the current request).

The Dashboard was created locally (in Lumira Designer) and uploaded on the BI-Plattform over 'upload to BI-Plattform'

The message says the document could not be found, but it's listed under documents. If I try to open it in Lumira Designer (in Preferred Startup Mode: 'SAP BusinessObjects BI Plattform (Legacy)') the Dashboard is not visible. But it's visible under 'BI Platform Document' while using 'SAP Lumira Documents' as Preferred Startup Mode.

When creating an Dashboard on BI-Plattform or 'SAP BusinessObjects BI Plattform (Legacy)' Mode, it's visible on both, Bi-Plattform and Lumira Designer.

Could anybody give me an advice what I did wrong?

Hi - is the Lumira add-on installed? Which version/SP of BI Platform are you using? Which version/SP of Lumira are you using? Are you using BW as a data source, and if so, is there a short-dump on the BW back end (transaction ST22)?

- yes it is.

Which version/SP of BI Platform are you using?

- SAP BusinessObjects Lumira Server for BI Plattform 2.0 SP1

Which version/SP of Lumira are you using?

- Lumira Designer 2.1 SP00

Are you using BW as a data source?

- Yes

and if so, is there a short-dump on the BW back end (transaction ST22)?

- no dump

For BI platform are you using BI4.2 SP5 or? On which operating system?

Would it be possible to update to the latest patch of Lumira Server 2.0?

No we are using BI4.2 SP3

We will update to the latest version of Lumira Server

is there any guide on how to update Lumira Server from 2.0 to 2.1?

I only found some for 1.x to 2.0

Hi Tammy,

it Worked, now the Dashboard is usable.

One last Question: I used a Embedded Frame from Scn Cummunity Basics.

But the Item is not shown on the BI-Plattform.

Is there a way to implement an Embedded Frame on the Plattform?
