Have you looked in MM03> Accounting 1 tab to determine if your material has a price?

    Dear Madan,

Plz check whether you have maintained planned costing variant and actual costing variant in order type dependent parameter.

If yes, than check which planned costing variant you have assigned.

Now goto spro, production, shopfloor control, operations, order costing, costing variant, now select the costing variant which you have assigned to planned costing variant in order type dependent parameter,go to edit mode of it.

Now see in costing variant, which valuation variant is assigned.

Go to edit mode of it.Their is a material tab page.

There you tell the system that which price to take for material valuation, like standard price, planned price, moving price.

I guess,in your case you have maintained only one option over there, thats why system is not able to find out the material cost.

There maintain,in first take the avg planned price

in second, take the moving avg price

in third , maintain the standard price.

and save. Now try,i am sure it will not show the error mssge again.
