I have few order which I don't want any more and that should not be considered for settlement.

Present status is TECO. Can I delete them ? Can the orders be closed ?

Hi Balaji,

If your delivered qty is "0" and there is no goods movement done, then it is better to delete the order.

If no qty was delivered for the target qty and just goods movement was done, then reverse the movment & confirmations done, if any.

If you have done teco, first of all reverse it

then tick the check box for "Final Delivery" in goods receipt tab.

Then do TECO again.

After that calculate WIP & Settle it.

Now close the order.

This is one of the way to close orders for permenant.

Pls. revert back in case of issue.

Regards,

Ankita

If there is no balance on the order you can either

1) set the status to CLSD

2) set the deletion flag and archive according to the companies retention period rules

Thanks , what do you mean by no balance? Is it no expected receipts ?

And if for some orders, balance exists, then can it be still closed ?

With balance I mean $ value on the order; the order has not been settled; goods movements or activities have been posted;

Thanks, but is it right to close the order without settlement ?
