Hi,

To maintain number range in the configuration (T.code: MMNR).

First you have to insert Group (Group -> Insert), maintain text for the group and number range.

Then select you material type and assign to the group (Edit -> Assign element group)

Hope this explains your query

Thanks,

hi buddy

first go to mmnr go to groups

create a new group (using F6)

while creating gr it ask u for no range

once u created the gr then check mark the gr and select the material type to which u have to assign the gr and clik on ELEMENT/GROUP

the perticular mat type will be attach to the gr and hence for the no range

reward if useful

Dear Abhijieet,

When finish creation of material number ranges you have to transport their ranges then only number ranges will work

for this you do this way as on replies you know how to create number ranges

next goto menu bar click on Interval --> Transport

to do this number ranges will updated and appear

Hope this helps you

Prem.

Sir while making goods receipt (GRN ) from t- code MIGO i wish that for raw material and for packing material no. ranges should be different. For that according to your suggetion i had done entire settings in t- code MMNR. Now suggest me in MIGO how to start my created no. range.

For MIGO you can maintain the No range at Comp Code level..

You can not maintain the MIGO no. ranges as material specific..

Hi sir as per your suggetion i had done following settings in MMNR also i had followed path of insert ==> Teansport .But my major problem is that my system is not taking no.ranges according to material type .

Sir please suggest me complite detailed process of assigning no. ranges according to material type in MIGO (Goods Receipt Note ), so that when i make GR of raw material system should take my assigned no. range & similarly for packing material system should take another no. range.

Please suggest me detaile steps to do above settings .

I wait for your reply.
